I understand first hand that there are no quick fixes to achieving your health and fitness goals. For many years I struggled with my weight and wanted to initiate change, but the total foodie in me was afraid that with weight loss would come a raft of restrictions and limitations, preventing me from having fun. I couldn’t have been more wrong!

As I’ve learnt over the years, it's all about being clever with your calories! You can still eat indulgent foods and enjoy a glass or two on an evening but knowing when and how to balance those with healthy alternatives and being creative with your meal choices is the ultimate key to success.

I am still the total foodie I always was, but I can now appreciate and enjoy indulgent foods as a treat, rather than a daily expectation or the norm. Taking inspiration and learnings from my own journey, I help my clients to transform their outlook, giving them the knowledge on fuelling their bodies with the right foods to get the best of their workouts, and of their results. I provide you with the know-how of applying ‘damage limitation’ so that when the weekend or a social occasion is on the horizon you can look and feel your best and have the confidence to recognise that all of your hard work and preparation deserves letting your hair down!

Emma


From being very slim naturally, it was always hard to get the body shape I desired and even harder to accept that to achieve a more toned, muscular physique, I needed to eat more and slow down on the cardio!

I’ve gone through the motions of trying all kinds of plans and regimes to get where I wanted to be. Some tailored to gaining more muscle and weight, others around cutting down weight to strip away unwanted body fat and learning how to maintain the muscle built in the process. Each came with their own ups and downs and I now use this experience to create bespoke solutions to help my clients reach their goals whilst still getting a good lifestyle balance.

Something I am very passionate about is self-love and over the past 12 months I have overcome ‘Breast Plant illness’ where my breast implants were causing me to feel low energy/fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, headaches, joint and muscle pain. For a PT having low energy was like an out of body experience, and alongside my explant procedure, exercise has become my therapy helping me to transform not only my body but my mind.

Exercise is about so much more than weight loss; it’s about feeling confident, empowered and happy in your own skin. For one whole hour in the day, exercise enables your attention to be focussed solely on your own self-love and self-development as you put both your body and mind to the test.
